Bill Marsh is the Pastor of Christ Community Church. In that role, he preaches each week, leads the staff, and serves as Moderator of the Session (the active ruling elders and ministers who govern our congregation). He was also Vice-Moderator of the ARP Church for 2008-2009.

Bill grew up in the Carolinas and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1986.

After a career in the road-building industry and service as a ruling elder in PCA and ARP churches, he sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry. He holds a Master of Arts from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) and a Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary. He is presently working on his Doctor of Ministry from Ligonier Academy.

Bill married Patty in 1989. She teaches 10th and 12th grade Humanities at Caldwell Academy. They are the parents of Will (20 and a NC National Guardsman currently training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, on Patriot Missiles, which scares his parents immensely), Ben (17, a junior who is home-schooled through Classical Conversations), and Anna Scott (14, 8th grade at Caldwell Academy). When he isn’t working, he is usually reading, working around the house, or doing something with his family and friends.
