Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate, and encouraging sports ministry for boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. Upward provides first-class, organized, and detailed sports programs in basketball, soccer, and flag football.

Sports are a great way for children to learn about teamwork, respect for authority, and sportsmanship. The sad part is all those things are being lost in today's sporting society. With an Upward Sport, these key essentials are included to create the best sporting experience for every child that participates. Each Upward Sport is designed to reveal the winner in every child. Every child plays. Every child learns. Every child is a Winner!

Christ Community Church will begin Upward participation with basketball starting with player evaluations beginning in early November followed by games beginning in January 2010. The season consists of eight weeks with one practice and one game per week per team.

Need for Volunteers
Christ Community Church's Upward Sports program needs volunteers: coaches, referees, prayer partners, devotion leaders, concessions, facility prep and clean up, greeters, etc. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this wonderful outreach opportunity for our church and help it reach its full potential to honor and glorify God in our community.
