The Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church, which seeks opportunities to minister the gospel to hurting women-by both word and deed-while demonstrating mercy toward hurting women and men in order that their lives and the lives of their unborn babies may be physically and spiritually saved. At the center, we help women cope with unplanned pregnancies and consider their alternatives in a passionate, supportive environment with the help of trained peer counselors. We provide them information they need to make the best choice for them. All of our services are free, even pregnancy tests and ultrasounds. If they choose adoption, we have information about several agencies along with valuable support counseling with a volunteer birth mother. If they decide to parent we offer classes on pregnancy, labor and delivery, child development, and parenting. We also offer Bible study to those who are pursuing spiritual growth.
We offer Post Abortion Counseling for those women who are experiencing struggles due to past abortions. We provide support for those who choose parenting in the form of baby clothes, diapers, baby beds, strollers, etc. Maternity clothes are also available.
Our needs at this time relate to building repairs and maintenance. We need cleaning service volunteers, refreshments for various functions, volunteer receptions and counselors. We provide the training.
We can always use help with our fundraisers: the Spring Walk for Life, Baby Bottle Campaign and The Fall Banquet. Financial donations keep our services free of charge.
