Friday, August 20, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.--Titus 2 - Generation-to-Generation: An Evening with Susan Hunt. The ladies of Christ Community Church (teens and adults) are invited to an intimate reception featuring renowned author and women's ministry trailblazer Susan Hunt. The event will take place in The Caldwell Room at the O. Henry Hotel (near Friendly Shopping Center). A suggested donation of $10 per person is suggested to help with the cost of the event.

This will be a program for all ages, and guests are welcome. There will be a book signing, refreshments, and complimentary copies of Susan's The Legacy of Biblical Womanhood and The True Woman will be distributed to each guest.

Kindly respond by Sunday, August 15 to Amy Munson by email or by phone (336-288-2365).

Sunday, August 8, following worship--Congregational Meeting/Picnic/Ministry Fair. Plan for a fun-filled lunch and afternoon. Right after worship there will be a short congregational update on finance and property matters. Following that there will be lunch provided ($4 per person or $10 per family). Right after lunch we will be having many activities - ministry fair, water games for the kids, and music playing throughout the afternoon (big thanks go to Tina and Will). Please bring bathing suits for the kids, lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen.

Tuesdays at noon and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.--Prayer Time. Join us in prayer for our church and the advance of God's Kingdom in this world. We meet in Room C-105 (near the front-left corner of the fellowship hall in choir room hallway). There is also an opportunity to pray for the needs of the church with the Sunday Morning Prayer Group, which meets from 8:30 to 9 on Sunday mornings in the D-wing Hospitality Room.

Summer--Inquirers' Class. This class is our way of orienting prospective members to the history, doctrine, and ongoing ministries of Christ Community Church. Join us for a four-week one-hour class during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday School hour this summer. If you have any questions or would like to reserve your seat, please contact Amy Munson by email or by calling 288-2365 ext. 23. Hope to see you there.

Saturday, August 21, 10 a.m.--First Presbyterial Annual Women's Ministry Meeting. CCC is hosting the 103rd meeting of the First Presbyterial Women's Ministries. All ladies are invited! Susan Hunt will be the guest speaker. She is the Women's Ministry Consultant for Christian Education and Publications and a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Columbia Theological Seminary. She has authored numerous books and travels extensively speaking to various women's groups. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and a light breakfast will be offered with the program beginning at 10. Lunch is offered at $5 a person. (Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers. Please indicate the age and number of children when you respond affirmatively.) Please RSVP for this event to Amy Munson by email or by calling (336) 288-2365.
