What happens on Sunday mornings?

Sunday mornings at Christ Community are always full of energy as we gather together for worship and fellowship as a body of Christ.

Worship
Our Worship service meets at 10:30AM in the Fellowship Hall and incorporates both traditional and contemporary elements of worship. This service focuses on singing, the reading and preaching of scripture, the sacraments, and prayer. Click here to read the latest weekly bulletins and click here to listen to the latest sermons.

Nursery
Nursery is offered during both the 9:15AM Sunday school hour and the 10:30AM worship service for children ages birth through 2. Located at the north end of the Children's Wing, our facilities allow separate rooms for birth infants, crawlers, toddlers, a nursing room and even a quiet room for naps. Our nursery volunteers are extensively trained and consider it a huge blessing to care for your littlest ones on Sunday mornings. Click here to learn more about the nursery.

Children's Ministry
One of the greatest joys of Sunday mornings is to walk down the children's wing and see the bustling of children going to their Sunday school classes. Beginning at 9:15AM, Sunday school meets for ages 3 through 5th grade and uses a comprehensive Bible curriculum called Show Me Jesus. During the 10:30AM worship service, the children in grades K-2nd meet for JAM (Jesus And Me) and JAM Arts. During JAM, children worship and learn about the Bible through puppets, skits and games. In JAM Arts, children use a variety of instruments to create music and song to praise God. The 3rd-5th graders can either go to the worship service with their parents or participate in Junior Church during that time. Click here for more information on Children's Ministry.

Student Ministries
Middle school and high school students meet during the 9:15AM Sunday School hour in a time of focused learning and fellowship called Passages. Middle school students meet for a time of high-energy worship, then split up into a 6th Grade group and a 7th and 8th grade group to study God's Word. High school students open up Passages with a time of sharing prayer requests and prayer before spending time in the Word. Both middle school and high school Passages groups emphasize open discussion and small group formats in order to reinforce and apply Biblical learning. Adult Bible Fellowships
Adult Bible Fellowships are an excellent way to study God's Word in-depth with a smaller group of people. ABF's are offered at 9:15AM and deal with a variety of topics from studying books of the Bible and theology to more topical studies such as Biblical parenting and financial management.
