Women’s Ministry

Our mission is to invest in women of all ages in a way that equips them as disciples of Christ, for their own spiritual maturation, for the good of the marriages and families of the church, for the betterment of the total ministry of the church, and for their life in the world!

We embrace and celebrate the biblical roles for men & women, biblical discipleship, rich prayer, deep fellowship, God-honoring service and multiplication of biblical daughters.

Our vision is to cultivate a Women’s Ministry that has rich Bible teaching in a variety of settings and is inclusive to all generations, that points women toward service in their homes and church and that fosters deep relationships in Christ amongst one another.  Our desire is to see life-giving women, who are holy, compassionate, caring and comforting, serving in their God-given roles with their Spirit-given gifts. Someday, CCC could provide her own women with a community Bible study and other high standard ministries, which would ideally be led by a Women’s Discipleship staff member and impact the surrounding community.

Precepts In-depth Bible Study

Ladies who are interested in an in-depth Bible study on Tuesday mornings or Tuesday evenings at the church. For details call Jean Herndon (Tuesday morning class) at 573-3588 or Kathy Wilson (Tuesday evening class) at 430-9030.

Prayer Quilt/Shawl Ministry

Do you enjoy (or want to learn) knitting or quilting? The Prayer Quilt/Shawl Ministry group will meet on Mondays. We are learning to make small prayer quilts and prayer shawis (knitted), which are given to CCC members who are facing life-changing situations. Consider joining us, as we quilt or knit, and experience the joy of sharing the love of Christ with fellow believers. We meet on the first and third Monday evenings of each month.
